Digitization in India has been an established requirement and we need a huge, trained resources to cater the need. However, there is no single authority/body which will evaluate (assess) the resource skill needed for this domain and issue a certificate to validate such skill. Currently there are approximately 3,00,000 resources which are used for this purpose and more than 60% are not aware of the domain. It results in defective production, repeat work, quality compliance issues and hence ultimately affects the productivity and cost.
The Objective
ESPL has a wealth of knowledge in digitization domain through experience in multi dimension projects. ESPL has created huge content and knowledge repository in the domain of digitization. The same can be percolated to the interested people who may get trained. This will ultimately help all the people involved and also the companies who are working in digitization projects.
The CertificationESPL proposes an online facility of assessment at a nominal cost and issue a e-certificate which can be used as a qualification/credential for the individual in this domain. There is continuous need of such certification in this field but no such certification is available now. ESPL wants to pioneer such a scheme so that it generated a resource pool, knowledgeable enough to handle digitization projects. It will create job opportunity for the following roles.
